Design-build is a method of project delivery in which one entity - the design-build team - works under a single contract with the project owner to provide design and construction services. One entity, one contract, one unified flow of work from initial concept through completion.
Born and raised in North Central California in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Paul has spent the last 23 years living throughout the West; skiing, biking, running his way from Chico California, to Missoula Montana, then to Taos New Mexico, to Truckee California, back to Taos. All along the way working in the building and design Field. In Taos, where Paul lived for nearly ten years, the Southwest light, the open space of the mesas, and the snow in the Sangre De Christo mountain range, honed all these skills and taught many important lessons. After a return to the California Coast in Fall of 2009, closeting the skis for short break and dusting off the surfboards, mountain biking with his two children, helping his folks improve their home in the mountains, Paul has continued to design beautiful spaces and build clever things in his shop. "There's something cleansing about the ocean, something organically exciting about standing in the sand, at the ocean's edge, that place between two very different worlds - one explored and one almost un-explored. There's a lot of summersaulting!"
Paul enjoys his time with his daughter Isis Blu, 11, soccer fanatic and animal lover, and 14 year old Rohnin, lover of tech, big mountain skier, skateboarder and movie maker.
